I had the pleasure of creating a new exterior signboard to replace the restaurant’s old, weathered sign.

Working closely with the owner, I incorporated their ideas into the design.

To create a sign that would also appeal to international visitors, I included iconic symbols of Hiroshima—the Great Torii Gate of Miyajima and maple leaves, a beloved symbol of Hiroshima.

I wanted the sign to become more than just a sign for the restaurant, but also a small part of the Hiroshima sightseeing experience for visitors.
